I playfully splashed some water in the face, but seeing her flushed face turning into an angry face let me know that she couldn't take a joke. "Come on beautiful... It's just water, you won't look uglier because of some water." I told her and tried to reach for her arm, but she slapped my hand away. I frowned and my eyes narrowed. "You shouldn't have done that..." I said and then I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her into the sea. She screamed and became even angrier than when she swam up. I smirked and then I dove deep into the sea, leaving this woman alone.

The brothers keep travelling around and they have become stronger over the years. Marinus feels really great to be around his brothers, but his desire of finding a mate also grows stronger. Instead of looking around for a lost mermaid he often goes to shore to tease young women, thinking that the right mate would be above the sea instead of in the sea.
